The-Dream Set to Release “1977” In Stores

By

The-Dream won’t be releasing a new album this year, as previously expected. Instead he will follow in the trend of mastering and packaging a mixtape for commercial release. The Grammy winning hitmaker has announced he will be offering fans the chance to buy an updated version of his well-received 2011 free album, “Terius Nash – 1977.”

The 11-track project, included some of Dream’s most personal and honest material to date, along with features from Big Sean (“Ghetto”) and Pharrell (“This Sh*t Real N**ga”). The forthcoming release will include mastered versions of the original songs, plus two new cuts, “AK47” and “Tender Tendencies,” and it will hit stores just in time for Christmas on December 18.

We have been expecting the fourth installment of his “Love” series, The Love IV: Diary of a Madman, which was being lead by single “Dope Bitch” featuring Pusha T. If that has just been delayed and pushed to next year, we will wait and see…
