Video: Charlie RED – “Kansas”

Last week, we posted this song by mysterious newcomer CharlieRED. An immediately infectious soul baring record titled “Kansas,” and there was even a short video teaser to go with it. Well, now an official full length visual has been released, and it adds even more to the already great song. What you might realize is that the main character in the video is up and coming singer Rockie Evans, so does that mean a name change, or alias, or actual group? Whatever the case, keep making tracks like this and you can call yourself what the f*ck you want… A full project titled Religion, is coming December 4, in the mean time… Click play!


New Music: Rihanna feat. Kanye West – “Diamonds (Remix)”

Why wouldn’t they! Kanye West destroys Rihanna’s hit single “Diamonds” on the brand new official remix. Ye adds a lengthy first verse with an aggressive flow, while the rest of the track remains the same. Rihanna is currently flying high on her ’777′ Tour, and will release her new album Unapologetic on Monday. Hear the high powered remix below…

New Music: B Smyth feat. 2 Chainz – “Leggo”

Motown newcomer B Smyth premieres his debut single “Leggo” featuring none other than 2 Chainz. The 19-year old Fort Lauderdale, Florida native built a big Youtube following, before getting courted by numerous labels and landing on the newly rebuilt Motown. Miguel Covers FADER Issue 83

Miguel has been on a steady rise to fame since before you knew his name, or first heard his voice, but the road, like many before him, was ever changing and unpredictable. Somehow, seemingly quickly it seems, he has become a savoir for R&B, and a cultivator of culture.

With his sophomore album Kaleidoscope Dream receiving critical praise and fostering the biggest R&B song of the year with “Adorn,” the LA native lands on the cover of FADER issue 83, with the feature title “Second Wind.” The story covers Mig’s personal life at his home in Los Angeles, and includes an in-depth summary of his rise from the initial release of his first album to now, along with some intimate and unique photos. Alicia Keys To Premiere “Girl On Fire” on November 20

Alicia Keys is giving fans an early preview of her fifth studio album, Girl On Fire. The R&B superstar is prepping for a worldwide listening session, via Youtube livestream and Google+ Hangout on Tuesday, November 20 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT. You can tune in to the premiere event on Alicia’s YouTube channel or via her Google+ page.

During the 90-minute session, Keys will play selections from all tracks on the album and offer insights and stories from the recording process. She’ll discuss the making of the album and her incredible array of collaborators. She also will engage her fans in an interactive Q&A. There might be some surprise guests stopping by as well.


Estelle Prepping Next Album, Titled “Love & Happiness”

Estelle is wasting no time between projects, getting ready to move on to her next album. The British songstress has been consistently recording while on tour, and says she already has an album ready.

The follow-up to this years All of Me, will be titled “Love & Happiness,” and according to Estelle, “It is kind of like the sequel, what happens after you get single, and tryin to fall back in love and be happy again.” She kept it short and sweet with HipHollywood on the red carpet of last weekends Soul Train Awards.


Faith Evans Thanks Twitter For “Tears of Joy”

Faith Evans’ latest single “Tears of Joy” has made it to the Top 10 on Urban AC radio. Faith recently explained how the first single from her new album, R&B Divas, came about because of Twitter.

Video: Dez – “We Ride”

Newcomer Dez premieres the music video for “We Ride,” the first single off his debut mixtape “Real Talk,” dropping November 28. The Virgina native relocated to LA after high school to pursue his musical ambitions. Linking up with platinum production team The Movement (Justin Bieber, Jesse McCartney), they began creating a modern Pop R&B sound based off their collective love for everyone’s favorite, ’90s R&B.
