New Music: Mara Hruby – “Simply Beautiful” (Remake)

Two years ago today, Mara Hruby released her debut EP entitled “From Her Eyes.” Today, in honor of the anniversary of her well-received introduction, the soulful songstress releases a new piece of art for the fans. Remaking Al Green’s classic, “Simply Beautiful“, recorded in the Love Den, Ms. Hruby has engineered, arranged, and produced the soul evoking tune, playing only objects found in her home, accompanied by acoustic guitar played by Nate Mercereau & Steve Wyreman. Listen closely and you will hear her playing spoons, loose change, a metal buddha head with a safety pin, and scratching against a scarf.

“This raw release is a thank you to all that have supported me in my journey of “From Her Eyes” with love and light. Welcome to her heart, home and soul,” shared Mara. Take a listen below…

Bilal has been quietly working on new music, as usual, and today the soulful crooner reveals, “Too High.” A buzz single off his forthcoming mixtape, “The Retrospection,” which drops December 5th.

Ne-Yo premieres the short film music video for his next Pop single, “Forever Now.” The R&B hitmaker struggles with the everlasting feeling of heartbreak, when he loses the woman he planned to spend, well, forever with. While, having to handle business as usual, the singer daydreams of reuniting with his Miss Right in a cinematic night scene as rain belts down upon them.

Stevie Wonder Surprises Emerging Teen Singer Ahsan with “Ribbon In The Sky” Performance

Earlier this year, we featured emerging talent, Ahsan, with his cover of “Who’s Loving You.” This week the young singer posted a new video cover performing Stevie Wonder’s classic “Ribbon In The Sky,” but turns out it wasn’t just a regular video cover for him, as the legend himself surprised young Ahsan and offered the play the keys for him. Rihanna & Chris Brown Share Intimate Moment

On their recent duet, Rihanna and Chris Brown might say, if they are together or not, it’s nobody’s business. But, it sure seems they want people to keep talking… As late last night, Rihanna shared a new intimate photo of the two, backstage after Chris Brown’s ‘Carpe Diem Tour’ stop in Frankfurt, Germany.

“fuckyopictures i dont wanna leave!!! Killed it tonight baby!!!,” tweeted the Pop diva who is rolling high after landing her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.

Is this news, I don’t know, probably not, but since these two are basically both the obsession of the year, it’s posted.
