Rihanna Remembers Grandmother with New Tattoo

Rihanna lost her grandmother Dolly in July, but she will always be close to her heart. During her trip to London, the “We Found Love” hitmaker paid tribute to her by getting a tattoo of Isis on her rib cage.

“Goddess Isis- Complete Woman – Model for future generations- #GRANGRANDOLLY – always in and on my heart #1lo,” tweeted RiRi, who had a close relationship with her grandmother, whom she affectionately called “Gran Gran Dolly.”

Isis is the Egyptian goddess known as the ideal mother and wife as well as the patron of nature and magic.

New Music: Alicia Keys – Not Even The King

Fresh off her performance at the ‘Stand Up to Cancer’ benefit on Friday, Alicia Keys debuts the studio version of her new song “Not Even The King.” The singer-songwriter sings about wealth of the heart and mind and not the pocket on the powerful piano drive record, off her upcoming album Girl on Fire, due November 27.

New Music: Trey Songz – Won’t Make a Fool Out Of You (TAGS)

DJ Orator brings you another unreleased R&B joint, a bit of a gem, with Trey Songz original version of “Won’t Make a Fool Out of You.” It was first cut by Trey but then recorded and released by X Factor US finalist and newcomer Marcus Canty. The Soundz produced track was used as a mild single for Marcus off the Think Like A Man movie soundtrack.

Marsha Ambrosius: “I Am An A**hole On New Album”

Marsha Ambrosius shared some new details on what we can expect from her forthcoming sophomore album Friends & Lovers, during a brief interview with Rap-Up on the red carpet at the BMI Urban Awards.

Opening up about the honest project she says, “You can expect me to be a complete asshole on one album, honestly and openly, the expressions of a woman, a very honest woman. And I’m not taking any prisoners.”

The LP which is due out later this year will included production from Pop & Oak, Dre & Vidal and Marsha herself.
