John Legend Announces US Tour – Previews New Song “Caught Up”

John Legend is bringing his ‘Future’ to the present. The multi-Grammy winner has announced plans to hit the road this Fall with a North American tour, in which he plans to perform brand new material from his forthcoming album Love In The Future.

The fourth studio album from the crooner will be co-executive produced by himself, Kanye West and Dave Tozer. John is so excited for this album that he is going to be previewing songs off the set online through his website, JohnLegend.com, as well. In the video below, he brings you a sneak peek of a new song called “Caught Up,” which he co-wrote with Kanye and was produced by Hit-Boy.

Trey Songz Talks Aaliyah Album, Chapter V, Impersonates Jay-Z & Responds To Ne-Yo’s Comment: It Was a Sucka Move!

With Trey Songz‘ forthcoming album Chapter V, just 2 weeks away the R&B star has been on the promo run. Last week stopping by radio station Wild 94.9, to talk about the new LP and answer all crazy host Nessa’s pressing questions. One of the interesting topics was his thoughts on the gossip causing posthumous Aaliyah album,

“I think the song is dope. It’s good to hear Aaliyah’s voice,” stated Trey. “Just the concept of the song was dope and just to hear her singing completely unheard lyrics was amazing to me. I didn’t really judge it from a place like is it good enough, I was just happy to hear it.”

Trey would like to see Timbaland and Missy Elliott on board as well. “I think it would be dope if Timbaland and Missy did it though,” he continued. “I think that’s the best way to do it, but you don’t know the particulars on what’s going around. You don’t know who owns her music, you don’t know any of that. So I don’t get to talking about stuff I don’t know about.”

Beyonce Shares New Candid Photos of Blue Ivy & Family

Beyoncé was back at work this week filming the forthcoming music video for her Diane Warren penned ballad, “I Was Here” off 4, in promotion for her role as an ambassador for World Humanitarian Day. The mega-star returned to her tumblr page as well, giving fans a new sneak peek into her personal life and recent trips.

This past July 4th holiday saw the singer return to her home state of Texas, as he shared the nations Independence Day with family, and visited the cultural town of Marfa. She spent some quality time with Jay-Z, as he pushed her on a country swing, and showed off the cute Watch The Throne Tour baby-tee rockin Blue Ivy.

R. Kelly Cancels Concert Cruise: I Don’t Sing For Free

TMZ is reporting…

R. Kelly just pulled out … of his highly anticipated act aboard a cruise ship … telling TMZ it’s all because the company couldn’t cough up the cash they originally promised.

If you didn’t know already … a company called Concerts Cruise LLC hired the singer to headline their “Love Letter” cruise … where he agreed to play two shows during a five-day trip in October, sailing from Miami to the Caribbean.

But now RK is singing a different tune … he just axed his involvement with the shindig claiming the promoter (Concerts Cruise LLC) never actually paid him.

A rep for the singer tells TMZ, “R. Kelly had been looking forward to the cruise and was ready, willing and able to perform for fans. He is sorry for any disappointment but plans to see his fans very soon on a U.S. tour.”

Concerts Cruise sent an email to customers informing them of the cancellation and saying they will “handle all applicable refunds at point of purchase.”
