New Music: Robin Thicke – Another Life

New Thicke? I’ll take it. Robin Thicke had been busy with his role on ABC’s ‘Duets,’ and the promotion of his latest album Love After War slowed down, but something like this brings you right back to his side. The soulful crooner once again unites with The Neptunes for “Another Life.” A feel-good, uptempo love tune that will surely have you tappin your feet.

You can catch the R&B star at the inaugural Wood Star Music Festival from August 17-19 in Chicago. The event is in support of a foundation headed by Shannon Brown of the Phoenix Suns. Take a listen below…

Monica & Shannon Brown Announce “Wood Star Music Festival” on ’106 & Park’

Rocsi’s favorite couple stopped by the ’106 & Park’ studio on Monday evening. Monica and her hubby Shannon Brown of the Phoenix Suns announced the “Wood Star Music Festival.” The three-day event, which benefits the Shannon Brown Foundation and giving back to the community, will take place in Chicago from August 17-19.

“Now that sports is a part of my life and music is a part of his, let’s bring them both together,” said Monica, who will perform at the festival on August 17, along with Robin Thicke, Estelle, Fantasia, and Dawn Richard.

K. Michelle Interview on Power 105′s ‘The Breakfast Club’

K. Michelle paid a visit to the Power105.1 studios in NYC for the infamous “Breakfast Club” on Monday morning. The R&B diva opened up about all sorts of topics, including her first introduction into the music industry (never heard this story before), about Ma$e convincing her to move to Atlanta because God told him she should, and how he put the moves on her. Of course she tells the story of first hooking with Memphitz again, and everything around ‘Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta’ and where she is headed now with her music.

Trey Songz feat. Young Jeezy & Lil Wayne “Hail Mary” (Promo Video)

Trey Songz is going long with the singles off his forthcoming album Chapter V. As he just released the 5th song off the project, “Hail Mary” featuring Young Jeezy and Lil Wayne yesterday. While, the official music video, which features a football theme and cameo from Kevin Hart, was shot last week, the R&B heartthrob has released an official promo visual for the dirty version of the song.

Trailer: R&B Divas (Extended)

Until now we’re received a few teasers and behind the scenes moments of TV One’s upcoming reality Show R&B Divas, but with the release of the shows ‘super trailer’ much more is revealed about the starring songbirds.

Trailer: Brandy feat. Chris Brown “Put It Down” Video

Continuing with the hype Brandy reveals an official trailer for the “Put It Down” music video. The R&B vixen looks like she never left, as she rocks her ’90s style braids, and dances in front of some fancy sports cars, as her co-star Chris Brown gets down in front of some graffiti painted walls.
