Alicia Keys Previews “Girl On Fire” in VMA Promo

Alicia Keys sets the mood for the upcoming 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, with a brand new promo video. The R&B superstars anticipated single “Girl On Fire” can be heard in the clip as Keys states, “My hands are on the keys. Tonight you will feel the power of my voice. Watch me reveal what’s within. I’ll show you everything. This is the moment.”

The powerful song is set to hit iTunes and radio on Tuesday, September 4, and will appear on Alicia’s upcoming album of the same name, due November 27.

You can catch the MTV VMA’s live from L.A.’s Staples Center at 8 PM EST on September 6.

Exclusive: New Music: Lloyd feat. Wale – All of Me

As we told you about yesterday, Lloyd has returned with a brand new single “All of Me” featuring Wale. Following their collaboration on “Sabotage,” the Young Goldie breaks down his desires and plans very simple over the smooth and catchy Cassius Jay produced cut. The electric guitar adds a great flare to Lloyds signature vocal.

The 26-year old R&B crooner has been busy in the studio working on new music for a mixtape and his next album. Listen to the brand new single “All of Me” below…

August Alsina Preps “Throwback” EP for Labor Day Release

By now you should be familiar with the name August Alsina. The 19-year old New Orleans bred singer, recent Def Jam signee and ThisisRnB ‘Emerging Artist.’ August is not your typical R&B artist, far from being a one dimensional act singing emotional love songs or heartbreak ballads. In fact he will be the first to tell you love is not for him at this moment, which is most evident in his new single “Sucka” featuring Lloyd. Where Alsina truly shines is through his undeniable authenticity, and raw storytelling.

With his growing buzz, following the success of his debut mixtape “The Product,” August is giving fans more free music with two new projects. The recently released “August Alsina University: School of Hard Knocks” hosted by DJ Greg Street, and now the forthcoming “Throwback” EP, hosted by New Orleans own Wild Wayne and DJ Hektik. Keyshia Cole Interview on Power105.1s “The Breakfast Club”

Keyshia Cole continued her promo run, stopping by Power 105.1s ‘Breakfast Club’ on Friday morning. The R&B songstress discussed how she acted during her pregnancy, if it affected her music and career, her feelings on why her last album did not performer well on the charts, moving from California to Ohio to be with her husband, basketball player Daniel “Boobie” Gibson, they gave the details on how they first started talking and the first time they actually met in person. Keyshia spoke further about her forthcoming album Woman to Woman, and once again being the voice for females, their upcoming BET reality show ‘Family First’ and more.

Alicia Keys looks stunning and determined on the single cover to “Girl On Fire.” The powerful song is the first official single and title track from her upcoming album, due November 27. It will be available on iTunes September 4 and she will deliver the debut performance of the song live at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards on September 6.
