And while her fans have waited patiently for the songtress’ return, Arie assures everyone via Twitter that their wait is certainly not in vain, tweeting: “The recording steps are: writing, arranging, recording, mixing and master .. we are NOW MIXING! at this cool place.”

It seems her three year hiatus has been marked with escaping turmoil, India.Arie will not allow the project to fall short of her spiritually rooted themes. “#OpenDoor means so much to me because it’s beautiful, challenging, truthful and the musical manifestation of my spiritual transformation.”
Sharing her excitement with her followers, India.Arie went on to tweet: “I’ve worked hard to BECOME the person who can write the things I have written on #OpenDoor and for you to hear it soon I am EXCIIIII-TED!”
Her enthusiasm for the album is easily infectious, adding her fifth studio album to the highly anticipated list for any neo-soul lover.
