Elle Varner Reveals “Perfectly Imperfect” Album Cover

Elle Varner strikes a curious innocent pose on the album cover for her forthcoming debut “Perfectly Imperfect.” The singer-songwriter has been garnering a buzz over the past year for her unique style, writing talent, and two hit singles “Only Wanna Give It To You” featuring J. Cole, and her first top 10 hit “Refill.” The 23-year old is currently prepping the release of her first LP, which was entirely produced by Pop & Oak, and is scheduled to hit stores on August 7 via MBK/RCA.

Tyrese Gets Intimate & Personal with AOL Sessions

Tyrese is the latest R&B star to visit the stage of AOL Sessions. The singer/actor brought love, intimate feelings and some personal thoughts to AOL’s Los Angeles studio with an exclusive performance of some of his classic tracks like “Sweet Lady,” “How You Gonna Act Like That,” and his most recent hit “Stay.”

In his incredibly candid interview Ty opened up about his own personal struggles, he proudly admits he’s in treatment for anger management, in which he made the choice to go himself. He revealed a very personal and intimate experience with a fan, compared what he gets out of music versus acting, and spoke in more detail about taking the independent route with his well received new album Open Invitation.

Frank Ocean made his first televised performance on Monday’s ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.’ The 24-year old singer-songwriter delivered a stirring debut of his personal song “Bad Religion,” while backed by a string section and The Roots, the crooner shared emotional moments with one of the songs that sparked controversy about his sexuality.

New Music: Frank Ocean feat. Andre 3000 – Pink Matter

Frank Ocean continues to surprise, as he made an unexpected move for all the fans — releasing his highly-anticipated debut album Channel Orange, a week early on iTunes. The digital release coincides with his appearance on Jimmy Fallon Live. One of the most sought after tracks is his collabo with Andre 3000 on “Pink Matter,” a very subtle, soft and mellow record with an open and expansive feeling, it features an audio clip from The Last Dragon movie.

The singer-songwriter opens the song gently singing, “What do you think my brain is made for // Is it just a container for the mind // This great grey matter // Sensei replied what is your woman // Is she just a container for the child // That soft pink mater.”
