New Music: R. Kelly – Green Light

R. Kelly will release his much-anticipated 11th studio album, Write Me Back, on June 26. On the follow-up to 2010′s Love Letter, the R&B King visits numerous styles, with cuts inspired by the ’60s and ’70′s, including Smokey Robinson and even Elvis Presley. However, the real Kellz fans will be happy to hear this specific track — “Green Light,” which is very reminiscent of the Pied Pipers classic populatin’ anthems. Take a listen to the full song now…

Keri Hilson Talks Giving Back & New Movie Role

Keri Hilson has been keeping a low profile lately, but the Atlanta songstress stopped by CNN’s ATL studios on Tuesday for a good cause. She appeared alongside a 12-year-old student to encourage youth to do something for their community during the summer as part of DoSomething.org and Bing’s “Summer of Doing” campaign.

In addition to working on her third album, Keri will be heading to the big screen in the sequel to The Chronicles of Riddick, a sci-fi movie starring Vin Diesel.

Yuna Goes Acoustic For Billboard, Covers Incubus

Mariah Carey Performs President Obama Inspired Song at Fundraiser

Mariah Carey seems to be the latest artist lending her god given talents to President Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign. Without being commissioned, the diva has written a ballad dedicated to the president as a sign of support. She debuted the song titled, “Bring It On Home” during a special fundraiser at New York City’s Plaza Hotel last week.
