News: Jermaine Paul Wins Season 2 of ‘The Voice’

Hardwork, determination and faith paid off for past background singer Jermaine Paul, as the NY native was crowned the Season 2 winner of NBC’s “The Voice” on Tuesday night. Paul, who competed with countless others over a lengthy period of time, takes home a cash prize of 100k and a record contract with Universal Republic.

The former background singer for Alica Keys also brought the trophy home for his coach Blake Shelton, who mentored JP throughout the process. After hearing host Carson Daly announce his name, Jermaine thanked those important to him and hugged his family members, friends, fellow contestants and the other judges, before taking the stage one last time for an emotional encore performance of R. Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly,” which he sang on Monday’s episode.

Chris Brown got everyone’s hands in the air as he turned the ballroom into a concert arena with an electrifying performance of “Turn Up the Music” on Tuesday’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Dressed in suits, Breezy and his amazing dance squad, lit up the stage and the screen, with their choreographed moves.

Chris Brown Presents: “Fortune” (Webisode 2)

With a little less than 2 months to go until the release of Chris Brown’s much-anticipated fifth album Fortune, the promo continues with the second installment of his “Fortune” webisode series.

In this episode the Pop R&B star is followed to his recent Dum English collectable toy launch and autograph signing, followed by his private art show debut in Los Angeles. Breezy opens up about his other creative sides and talks about the art making process in the clip, as well as sharing an inspirational thought for new artists.

“The advice I would give to any aspiring artist, whether it be entertainment, music, fashion, art… I would definitely say, just go for it, it always starts with a dream, and nobody can stop you from dreaming, and if you want to do, just believe you can do it, cuz you create your own destiny.”

Behind The Scenes: Kevin McCall’s “Naked” Video Shoot

Take a look behind-the-scenes of the recent video shoot for Kevin McCall’s debut single “Naked” featuring Big Sean. The burgeoning multi-talented artist shot the visual this past Easter Sunday in an LA art gallery. With Chris Brown serving as the director alongside Godfrey Tabaraz, the vid is centered around beautiful ladies, beautiful art & beautiful clothes.

Kevin commented, “We wanted to make sure with this video, that we took a different, more of an artistic approach to it. We show the more artistic side to the word Naked and the visuals you can get from that. That’s why we chose to be at an art gallery.”

He continued, “The theme is basically, I have a leading lady. I’m walking through the art gallery, I’m looking at all these crazy freaky pictures. Everything’s just couture and I’m in nice suits….It’s not a strip tease. This is real music. Real art.”

Bobby Brown Reveals “The Masterpiece” Album Cover & Tracklisting

Bobby Brown is prepping his brand new album and comeback plans. The former New Edition singer has revealed the album cover and tracklisting for his fifth studio album The Masterpiece. His first album in 14 years will yield the first single “Don’t Let Me Die,” expected to be released May 15, along with the video during an interview on The Ellen Show.

When asked about his upcoming album, Brown explained, “I simply wanted to create a body of work that will take listeners on a musical journey; the style of music that will allow people to get in touch with their highs and lows and their joys and pain of living through song. At the same time, I am hoping to bridge the gap between good old R&B and R&B of today.”

“The Masterpiece” is scheduled to hit stores June 5. Check out the tracklisting below…
