News: Chris Brown Holds Debut Art Show

Following the launch of his Dum English collectibles toy line, Chris Brown displayed his street art for the first time at a VIP event at the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

Breezy and contemporary pop artist Ron English, who designed Chris’ F.A.M.E. album cover, painted a life-size Dum English astronaut sculpture in front of guests including Bow Wow.

“My first art show!” tweeted Chris. Proceeds from the Dum English toy line will benefit Chris’ Symphonic Love youth foundation. If successful, it will expand into other areas including sneakers. See more pics below…

Sean Garrett Talks About Brandy’s New Single “Put It Down” & Reveals “Sick” Song

Rap-Up TV caught up with Sean Garrett to talk about producing Brandy’s new single “Put It Down” featuring Chris Brown, and the singer-songwriter also revealed a new song called “Sick” on her sixth album Two Eleven.

“‘Put It Down’ is a good segway to what the album is about,” he explained. “The album’s definitely not predictable. At the same time, it’s progressive. It’s made to excite people. It’s about keeping people intrigued. It’s about entertainment.”

Brandy’s RCA/Chameleon Records debut is due this summer.


Omarion Joins Maybach Music Group on ’106 & Park’

Fresh off announcing his signing to Maybach Music Group, Omarion appeared on BET’s “106 & Park” alongside his new boss Rick Ross and MMG labelmates Wale and Meek Mill.

“Ya’ll make some noise for the newest member of MMG, Omarion,” said Rozay, who explained how they linked up.

“It really boiled down to the music. He came down to Miami, we got in the studio. He recorded close to a dozen records and I was just so impressed, not to mention the fact he’s an entertainer, songwriter, actor, dancer. I just thought it was a great move and I wanted to see the homie shine.”

The former B2K member, who was previously signed to Young Money, explained why he decided to join Ross’ camp. “I think the relationship, bonding with somebody comes first,” said Maybach O. “I’ve been doing this for a long time and God has blessed me. More than anything, I really respect and I really like the way he moves like a boss. It takes one to know one.”

Omarion plans to release an EP and has already shot a video for his first single “Let’s Talk” featuring Rick Ross.

Check out this new song and video from singer-songwriter Mylah. You might remember the soulful singer from Diddy’s “Making the Band” 3, but since then she has been busy writing and working on her career. This record is off her forthcoming mixtape, which is coming soon. The track produced by Brandon “B.A.M.” Alexander might also sound familiar because we first heard it on the now unreleased Tyrese and Brandy collabo “Rest of Our Lives,” which did not make Ty’s latest album Open Invitation. R&B group One Chance look to make their return with the brand new sexually charged video for “Echo.” The Chicago bred quartet, who are now signed to T-Pain’s Nappy Boy Ent., look to ignite some sexual tension in the new visual for the cut off their 2011 mixtape “Ain’t No Room For Talk’n.” OC are currently working on a new mixtape and their debut album, both expected to be released this year.
