The hitmaking producer spoke briefly about R&B saying, “It’s really interesting with R&B music now, cuz R&B is prolly the least most supported music in the music industry. N***as is so caught up in this techno, and dance sh*t right now, it’s like the R&B artists, that really make R&B music are rapping now, so the n***as that’s really singing, man they be getting like 0 support, so I’m here to make sure that we keep that going and we redefine R&B lifestyle.”

Our friends over at TheNext2Shine put us on to Kirby Lauryen earlier this year, and since then we have had our eye on this emerging artist. The singer-songwriter has been flooding the net with new music, every day, with her “A Song A Day” series, which she posts on Youtube, and then in compilation form on her Bandcamp page. Well, today’s song really stuck out to us, so we had to make this our first official introduction to Kirby Lauryen, with her brand new song “HE’motional.”

Usher has unveiled the cover art and tracklisting for his seventh album Looking 4 Myself. The much-anticipated set, due June 12, features 14 tracks including his No. 1 single “Climax,” newly released follow-ups “Scream” and “Lemme See,” and includes appearances from Pharrell, Luke Steele, and Rick Ross. The deluxe version includes four additional tracks, including the Pharrell produced “Hot Thing.”
