Musiq Soulchild recently spoke to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about his new book, “143 Love According To Musiq″ which breaks down his observations about the experience of ‘Love’ from a man’s point of view.

“Anyone out there who reads this will be able to relate because this is something we all experience.” explained the singer.

When asked about what his book is about, Musiq says he breaks it down in three acts:

1st Act: This explains my thoughts and views on how you can better love yourself.

Get in a relationship with yourself first….take yourself out on a date…. buy yourself your favorite things, go to your favorite places…because when you exercise things like that, its better for you to articulate what you like and what you don’t like when you get in a relationship, because it’s not foreign to you. Some people get in relationships looking for the other person to fill that void in their lives, when they should have figured out how to fill that void themselves and then oftentimes the relationship doesn’t work, because you don’t know who you are.
