In what comes as totally expected news, Ashanti has announced she will be pushing back the release of her forthcoming album Braveheart. The R&B vixen is out here on her own this time, with her first independent album, and it takes time to build up that buzz when you are solo dolo. The first single “The Woman You Love” was received well at first, but seems to have lost most interest since the video was released.
Personally, it has a little too much screaming on it. The album is expected to boast some big R&B collaborations such as R. Kelly and Keyshia Cole though, and production from many of the best in the game. A new tentative date of June 19 has been set in place, and we hope the singer has some strong crossover appealing songs ready on deck. Stay tuned!
