Next Thursday marks this year’s NFL Draft, when the best and brightest college football players will find out what their near future holds. In celebration of the occasion, Nas and Austin-based blues musician Gary Clark Jr. hit the studio together to rework the laters “Bright Lights,” and transform it into a draft night anthem. The Clark Jr. original now features some inspirational verses from Nas, who sounds right at home over the bluesy guitars and crunchy drums.
For those of you that are interested the draft airs at 8 p.m. on April 26, and for those of you that say R&B is missing the blues, you can get a heavy dose by checking out Gary Clark Jr.’s ‘Bright Lights’ EP, which is out now.

The UK’s latest break-out soul sensation Emeli Sande has revealed her latest music video, for current single “My Kind of Love.” The fourth track to be lifted from her critically acclaimed, debut album Our Version of Events. Speaking on the visual Emeli wrote,
“During my time studying medicine, I found it hard to write, but one of the things that inspired me were the patients and the interaction that they had with their loved ones during their time of illness. When people arrived at the hospital, money and status became irrelevant and only health mattered, which sparked an honesty between people which was amazing. This interaction, declaration of support and love, was the inspiration for “My Kind Of Love” and something I wanted to try and portray in this video. Thank you. Emeli x”
Many of you are probably still unfamiliar with Emeli Sande and her wonderful album. So, don’t stay in the dark any longer, watch her new video now, and then below check out her moving US TV debut performance on Conan O’Brien Thursday night.
