Monica’s seventh studio album New Life enters the Billboard charts in the top 5 claiming the No. 4 spot with 69,000 copies sold. Although the numbers are a big difference from her last album Still Standing which landed at No. 2 with 184,000 copies sold in March 2010, it is great to know that Monica’s New Life didn’t end up being on life support. Congratulations Monica!
Tank has enlisted the talents of his Atlantic Records label-mate, T.I. for the remix/final version of “Compliments” featuring singer-songwriter Kris Stephens. The Southern gentleman MC shows his appreciation for the ladies on the slinky jam, which will appear on Tank’s upcoming album This Is How I Feel, due May 8.
