Kevin Cossom Back In NYC ‘Hook vs. Bridge II’

In promotion for his forthcoming mixtape/ep “Hook vs. Bridge II” the homie Kevin Cossom has released this promo visual of his recent trip to NYC. The hitmaking singer/songwriter, who recently penned the hook for the buzzing DJ Khaled single “Take It To The Head,” works with his label boss and platinum producer Danja on a session for Usher in the infamous Electric Lady Studios, hits up his label RCA to record radio promo drops, and visits The Breakfast Club on Power105.1 for an interview.

Photos: On-Set of Shanell’s “So Good” Video Shoot

Shanell was joined by her YMCMB family while shooting the video for “So Good,” the first single off her debut album featuring Drake and Lil Wayne. The singer/songwriter kicked it with Lil Wayne and Birdman in front of a black Porsche Panamera on the Miami set. She also shared steamy scenes with Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee, who plays her leading man in the X-directed clip.

Shanell, who is currently on the first leg of her “So Good” radio promo tour, will release her mixtape ‘Nobody’s Bitch’ on June 1. Check out more pics from the sexy shoot below…

Following her adventurous outing at the Elle party in Los Angeles last night, Melody Thornton releases the personal video for “Someone to Believe,” a cut off her mixtape “P.O.Y.B.L.” The former Pussycat Doll gets emotional in between home movie footage and clips of her onstage with the Dolls. “I don’t believe in fairy tales no more, but I still believe in me,” she sings as tears roll down her face.

Kelly Rowland Talks About Next Album, “It Will Have A Concept”

MTV News recently caught up with Kelly Rowland on the set of Trey Songz’s “Heart Attack” video. The R&B diva briefly spoke about her next album, and her forthcoming Australian tour.

The follow-up to her third solo LP, Here I am, will have a theme: “I made sure that I locked in on a concept and everyone that’s come in to work on this album, we’ve all built around it. It’s just building up so beautifully. I’m so proud! So I can’t wait till all of my fans hear it.”

Kelly is not only readying her next album — she’s documenting the process. “I’m in the studio,” she said before breaking out into conspiratorial giggles. “Man, it’s been so much fun. I do wish that some of my fans could be in there for that … [so] I have taped a lot of moments for my fans.”
