A personal favorite from the recent debut of ‘X Factor’ in the US. Marcus Canty made it to the semi-finals and left the show in fourth place. But, his mentor L.A Reid, now head of Epic Records, became close with the budding singer and offered him a deal at Epic. Now, in the process of creating his sound and working on his debut, we get the first taste of new music from Marcus… And, he has delivered! great song, the beat might a little too minimalistic but still. Less is more I guess.
The melody in the chorus, when he sings the sentence WON’T MAKE A FOOL OUT OF YOU remembers me of another song, I just can’t remember which one. Anybody would know?
I am impressed i didn’t think his first single would be this good but i love it. good quality lyrics and great vocals

WOW. I WAS HOPING HE WOULD ACTUALLY SING WITHOUT ANY AUTO TUNE OR WHISPER. L.A REID SHOULD MAKE SURE CANTY COMES CORRECT ON HIS DEBUT, IM SURE OF THAT. GREAT VOICE AND STYLE ON THE MIC. KEEP THE REAL MUSIC COMING.
