BEHIND THE SCENES: TREY SONGZ “SEX AIN’T BETTER THAN LOVE” VIDEO SHOOT

Trey Songz is caught between his old self and the new mature side in the split-screen video for “Sex Ain’t Better Than Love,” his single off last year’s “Inevitable” EP. The ladies’ man is caught between Team Sex and Team Love in the Juwan Lee-directed clip, which premieres Thursday.

“The concept is a split lifestyle,” explained Trigga. “In life you make decisions and you make choices and you never get to see what would happen if you made a different choice. It’s not really where we go into the past. It’s more so at one moment I make a decision to be with one woman and in one moment I make a decision to choose another woman.”

In related news, Rico Love tweeted that he penned “Heart Attack,” which is expected to be the first release from Trey’s upcoming album Chapter V.

R. KELLY – TRAPPED IN THE CLOSET: THE NEXT INSTALLMENT (PREVIEW)

At the end of last year we reported via TMZ that that R. Kelly claimed he had written another 32 new chapters of his popular “Trapped In The Closet” series. At the time, he was shopping around for producers and outlets to release it. Well, it seems he has found his partners and is on the verge of returning with another massive addition to the hip-hopera, which will be titled “Trapped In The Closet: The Next Installment.”

Sylvester, Rufus, Cathy, Gwendolyn, Bridget, Big Man, Rosie the Nosy Neighbor, Twan and Pimp Lucius are back! This year, the crew reunites on IFC in the next installments of R. Kelly’s continuing hip hopera about a group of characters interconnected by sexual exploits, little people and a mysterious package.

TRAPPED IN THE CLOSET is produced by Sylvester Films and Fuzzy Bunny Films; R. Kelly executive produces, writes, stars, and co-directs with Jim Swaffield; Ann Carli is the producer. For IFC, the show is executive produced by Jennifer Caserta, Debbie DeMontreux, Christine Lubrano and Evan Shapiro.

The Talented Mr. Leslie returns with the brand new video for “5 Minute Freshin’ Up.” The latest visual release from his LES IS MORE video album. You might remember the making of video (if not see it here). Ryan takes you to the sunny beaches of MIA for the sexy, luxurious visual, as he tells a tale through his braggadocio raps.

Speaking on the release R Les stated, “the “5 Minute Freshen Up” is a polite excuse for a girl to dip out of a conversation with someone who “isn’t fresh enough.” Example – ‘I’ma be right back – just need 5 minutes to freshen up” … and then she never comes back.”
