VIDEO: MELODY THORNTON – LIPSTICK&GUILT

Former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton debuts the video for “Lipstick&Guilt,” her unexpected, buzzed about remake of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “No Church in the Wild,” which will appear on her mixtape “P.O.Y.B.L.”

“We were influenced by the dark undertones of the track and Melody’s powerhouse vocals,” said directors Dano Cerny and Marielle Tepper. “We worked with our effects team Nick Young and Zack Young to create a world that matched the mood and beauty but wasn’t your typical video imagery. The great thing about working with Melody is that she thinks out of the box and wants to push the envelope visually, which makes for a great collaboration.”

Melody’s 10-track mixtape “P.O.Y.B.L (Piss On Your Black List)” will be available for free download on March 15. See the cinematic visual below…
