The Carters had an urge to witness Linsanity courtside at Madison Square Garden on Presidents Day, to watch Jay-Z’s Nets take on our New York Knicks, and the NBA’s newest star Jeremy Lin.
OMG. Chris isn’t letting Rihanna have all the fun. The Grammy winner and the Pop siren planned a massive, hysteria causing double release for their much-rumored-about new collaborations. Just minutes after RiRi set the net ablaze with her “Birthday Cake (Remix)” featuring Brown, the R&B heartthrob made public his brand new “Turn Up The Music (Remix),” also featuring his ex-flame Rihanna. The full version of her Talk That Talk cut, “Birthday Cake,” produced by The-Dream and Da Internz. What a B-Day gift to her fans! What do you think of it?? This past weekend Chris Brown shook up Miami with a party at Cameo Theatre. The R&B star and friend, rapper Tyga, celebrated his Grammy win for Best R&B Album as they hosted and partied at the Miami Beach nightclub.

Rihanna celebrated her 24th birthday with her British fans by riding the Tube (aka the subway) to rehearsal for tonight’s BRIT Awards in London, where she is set to perform with Coldplay. As she left the station and got into her car, she stopped to hug fans who were singing “Happy Birthday.”

Olivia, most recently known as a cast member on VH1′s Love & Hip Hop, just dropped a new mixtape with a mixture of some of her fans favorite tracks. The tape is hosted by DJ FINE$$E and serves as a taste of what you can expect on her upcoming project Show The World. Recently she performed at Samantha Black’s 2012 New York Fashion week show and will be announcing information about a new deal and other partnerships soon.

Recently Kevin Cossom has been in the studio cooking up remixes in anticipation for his upcoming project. The first release of those efforts is Kirko Bangz “Drank in My Cup” redone as “Hand On Her Butt,” where Cossom describes a good time with a female counter part. With about a week left in Black History Month R&B favorite and sometimes motivational speaker Tyrese has released an attention grabbing video that he directed and produced himself. The 13-minute visual features actor Blair Underwood speaking with Martin Luther King Jr. (played by Tyrese) and Coretta Scott King (played by Jill Scott). “Dr. King” touches on various topics and issues currently facing America and provides insight and advice on how to move forward. It’s not music related, but a much needed message none-the-less.
