Much like Adele, said Ryan Tedder, Beyonce “steers the ship.” And the award-winning producer/songwriter has some idea of just where that ship is going. Tedder was speaking with press at the Grammy Awards after picking up an honor for contributing to Adele’s Album of the Year, 21, and his nomination for Producer of the Year. Asked what his next projects were for 2012, he said that B.o.B.’s next single would be out this week, and he’s had his hands on music for K’Naan, Gavin Degraw and some “Beyonce stuff.”
He said it goes “without saying” that Bey’s work will have some reflection on her newborn child Blue Ivy, but that “the conversations about her next album literally just happened.”
“You feed her the best that you have. She’s just a phenomenal filter… she can identify what the next thing is,” Tedder said of the megastar, noting that she has “two projects happening” this year. “You just let her go.”
Did we expect any less from B, 5 weeks since giving birth to her first child, Blue Ivy, she is getting back up on that horse for the remake of A Star Is Born, and possibly a new album.

Ashanti paid homage to her idol Whitney Houston with a stirring performance on “Good Morning America.” The R&B singer covered Houston’s classic “I Have Nothing,” which she has performed live before, and tweeted about the loss of the late legend.
“I still can not believe we have lost one of the most, powerful, soulful, soothing and classic voices of our time,” wrote Ashanti. “Her beauty, strength and poise touched millions around the world. She paved they way for women such as myself and her music brought generations together. Every little girl sang a Whitney Houston song. Having the honor of her being in my video and being the huge icon that she was, she always seemed like your favorite aunty. My heart goes out to her daughter and family. RIP the Amazing Whitney Houston.”
