NEW MUSIC: ESPERANZA SPALDING – BLACK GOLD

2011 Best New Artist Grammy winner, Esperanza Spalding is making her return, and has just released the first single from her new album, Radio Music Society. The jazz bassist and singer mines for some sweet soul on the lush new tune titled “Black Gold.” Esperanza is also joined by neo-soul singer Algebra on the vocals. A video is on the way, expected to premiere on BET’s 106 & Park, and the forthcoming album is slated for release on March 20th.

NEW MUSIC: DONDRIA – DONDRIA DUETS 3 (MIXTAPE)

Fans will be happy, after a slight push-back So So Def princess Dondria has released the latest installment of her Dondria Duets Mixtape series. The 3rd edition takes a spin at the burgeoning singer/songwriters favorite R&B songs from the 90′s. Including remixes of classics by R. Kelly, Dru-Hill, Tyrese and much more. The mixtape also includes an unreleased track titled “You Know,” from the Dondra vs. Phatfffat recording sessions.

JD and Dondria have also announced that the next installment of Dondria Duets will be released as her third album and will be all original collaborations. In the meantime Dondria will be releasing the first single from her second album soon. But, before then a buzz single entitled “Ol’ School Love” featuring Da Brat will be released.

In her new documentary style web series, Luckett gives you a behind the scenes look at the creation of the album as well clips from her on the road promoting From the Rough, a lifetime film she starred in alongside Taraji P. CIARA SALSAS & SINGS MADONNA AT SUPER BOWL PRESS DAY

Ciara got the party started early on the football field during yesteday’s Super Bowl Media Day. While co-hosting for “The Insider,” the singer/dancer had a blast interviewing players from the New England Patriots and New York Giants, and even got them to participate in some karaoke in honor of halftime performer Madonna.

CiCi, who appears in the upcoming Adam Sandler comedy That’s My Boy, sang along to “Like a Virgin” with the Giants’ Victor Cruz and Patriots’ Chad Jackson, and vogued to the Material Girl’s classic “Vogue.”

The dancing continued when a Telemundo reporter asked her to salsa with him. Check out CiCi’s moves below…

NEW MUSIC: R. KELLY – SHARE MY LOVE (NEW SINGLE)

He’s back! As we previously reported R. Kelly is prepping the release of a brand new album titled “Write Me Back,” due late March. The 11th studio-album from Kellz is the follow-up to 2010′s Love Letter, and is expected to be an entire project with the inspiration of 70′s Soul. The first single has just been released and it is entitled “Share My Love.” This is definitely another one for all the steppers out there, so get in that grown and sexy mood and press play!

BREAKING NEWS: DON CORNELIUS FOUND DEAD – APPARENT SUICIDE

According to TMZ…

Don Cornelius, who famously created “Soul Train,” was found dead in his Sherman Oaks, CA home this morning. Law enforcement sources are saying it appears he committed suicide.

BOYZ II MEN PERFORM “ONE UP FOR LOVE” AT O2 ACADEMY
