Don’t call it a comeback, but who can stop LL Cool J when he returns to music with joints like this? It’s basically R&B, right? (haha). LL unites with Ne-Yo for his brand new break-up song “No More.” The emotional single is produced by hitmaking duo Rico Love and Jim Jonsin.
Check it out… Does LL have a new one??
Robin Thicke helped get the holiday season underway at Los Angeles shopping center The Grove. The R&B lothario debuted his latest single “Pretty Lil’ Heart” with his band during the tree lighting celebration on the outdoor stage as fake snow and fireworks capped off the festivities.
Mariah Carey and John Legend brought the snow to sunny Southern California over the weekend while shooting the festive video for “When Christmas Comes,” a remake of the holiday tune that originally appeared on Mariah’s 2010 album Merry Christmas II You.
Take a look behind-the-scenes below, and stay tuned for the new Holiday duet!
Last Friday, MirImage released their new sexy single “11:11 (Eleven Eleven),” and today the up and coming R&B duo bring you a promo video. The steamy clip, in red light special style, exemplifies what the young singers are portraying with the meaning of the song, which they say “symbolizes the time of night where two partners can make a sexual wish.”
New music from exciting rising artist – Austin Brown, we’ll take it! After his introduction/teaser video, and a random performance on Lopez Tonight, we haven’t heard much from Austin Brown yet, but we are waiting. If you aren’t familiar, Austin is the son of Rebbie Jackson, and MJ’s nephew. The new song titled “Midnight Man,” which surfaced over the weekend, is a very 80′s inspired, funky, uptempo, catchy track. Austin’s upcoming album “85,” due in 2012, carries the title for a couple reasons. Brown said 85 represents the year he was born, but also pays tribute to the sounds that helped make him the artist he is today. “Midnight Man” gives fans a chance to hear the music he’s generating and offers them an inside look at the styles that inspire him.
Check it out, and stay tuned!

Sunday Monday Soul, I bring to you Michael Orr; NO. Not the football player but the 70′s soul singer. The record I present is off of his “Spread Love” LP which was originally released in 1976 on the Detroit based Sunstar label. Largely ignored when it was first issued, which made this a true gem. Inspired by the musical vision of Quincy Jones, Michael Orr and bass player Carey Harris assembled a cast of musicians and vocalists to create a timeless masterpiece.
What else is there? Well you’ll just have to see after the break.
