MARIAH CAREY REVEALS NEW LOOK ON ROSIE SHOW

Mariah Carey has fought incessantly during the last few months to reclaim her toned body after giving birth to her twins, and now she is ready to reveal the results of her hard work. The diva will appear on OWN’s ‘The Rosie Show’ tomorrow at 7pm ET where she will unveil her new physique to the world.

Weight loss secrets aren’t the only things that Carey has planned. She will soon debut her new video for “All I Want For Christmas Is You” with Justin Bieber, as well as her duet with John Legend on the remix of her holiday tune “When Christmas Comes.”


MARY J. BLIGE, ERYKAH BADU, JILL SCOTT & MORE CELEBRATE WOMAN AT ‘BLACK GIRLS ROCK’

Music’s biggest voices saluted black women in business, politics, entertainment, sports, and community service at BET’s second annual “Black Girls Rock!” event, honoring Angela Davis, Shirley Caesar, Taraji P. Henson, Tatyana Ali, and more.

BET has finally released the official footage. Erykah Badu kicked off the festivities by beat-boxing and adding her own instrumentation to “Appletree.” Melanie Fiona showed off her powerful pipes with her new song “This Time,” newcomer Elle Varner stepped into the spotlight with “Only Wanna Give It to You,” and Estelle said “Thank You” with her Akon-penned single.

Soul diva Jill Scott delivered a spoken word performance of “Womanifesto” and empowered her fellow ladies with “Hate On Me.” And Mary J. Blige closed out the inspiring evening with “Just Fine” and “My Life.”

DR. CONRAD MURRAY FOUND GUILTY IN MICHAEL JACKSON MANSLAUGHTER TRIAL

After six weeks, a jury has reached a verdict in the involuntary manslaughter trial of Michael Jackson’s doctor. Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Michael Jackson’s family including parents Katherine and Joe and sister La Toya were present in the courtroom as the verdict was read.

NEW MUSIC: DRAKE FEAT. THE WEEKND – CREW LOVE

Drake reps for his hometown of Toronto on The Weeknd-assisted “Crew Love,” the fourth track off his sophomore album Take Care (Nov. 15). He first heard the beat while on set of Nicki Minaj’s “Moment 4 Life” video in Los Angeles.

“I automatically thought of the city that I miss so much,” he said on Toronto’s Flow 93.5. “This record is just more about the OVOXO movement and just being proud to be from Toronto. When you go outside the city, just be proud.”




MARY J. BLIGE INTERVIEW ON ALAN CARR: CHATTY MAN SHOW

Mary J. Blige graced the couch on British talk show “Alan Carr: Chatty Man” to promote her upcoming album My Life II… The Journey Continues (Act I). The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul laughed until her makeup started running while chatting with the English comedian.

She discussed the possibility of becoming a judge on the U.K. version of “The Voice,” not being “polished” like her peers Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, her relationship with Diddy, and rap alter ego Brook Lynn.

“I don’t want to talk about Brook Lynn because she gets really ugly,” said MJB. “She’s the person that really protects Mary from all of the people that have horrible things to say about her. I keep her tucked away.”


MARIAH CAREY UNITES WITH JOHN LEGEND ON CHRISTMAS REMIX

Mariah Carey is back in her traditional Holiday spirit and getting ready to give us  another Christmas present. In addition to shooting a video with Justin Bieber for “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” the pop songbird has joined forces with R&B star John Legend on a remix to her holiday song “When Christmas Comes.”

She teased with a video of herself driving through the snow playing a snippet of the remix. The original song, produced by The Roots’ James Poyser, appears on her 2010 holiday album Merry Christmas II You.

“Coming soon, a legendary musical collabo. #WhenChristmasComes Sorry for the camera work, the snow made it pip!” tweeted MC. “So.. that was a snippet of the RnB Christmas collabo – me & the legendary John, soon to be topping your Christmas list! P.S. It’s a SGSHW!”
