NEW MUSIC: COCAINE 80′S – GHOST LADY (EP)

The cold weather today brought the sniffles, oh and Cocaine 80′s are back! The collective of producer No ID, Common, singer/songwriter James Fauntleroy, and more have released a follow-up EP to this past Summer’s nice, random debut. The 7 track set is titled “Ghost Lady.” Waiting on full credits for this one.

NEW MUSIC: BEYONCE FEAT. J.COLE – PARTY (REMIX)

Following the news that Beyonce will finally release the video for “Party” next Tuesday (Oct. 25th), the brand new, official remix has been released. B is jointed by Roc Nation star J. Cole, who just replaces Andre 3000, for a short, but dope verse. Rumor has it Cole will be replacing Andre in the video, for whatever reason he couldn’t make it. Kind of a shame, since Andre made the song just as much as B, but still expecting a great video. Check it out below.


MARQUES TOLIVER PERFORMS “WHITE SAILS” AT CMJ EVENT IN NYC

This past Wednesday I had a great, unexpected experience. Hearing Marques Toliver for the first time, Live. The violinist/singer/songwriter/ gave an impromptu performance of his incredible song “White Sails,” at the Hydroshare party. If you are unfamiliar with Marques, you must press play on this clip, and if you already know the man, enjoy another incredible performance.


THE-DREAM PUSHES BACK “LOVE IV,” ANNOUNCES “INTERNATIONAL” ALBUM

The-Dream is still hot on the heels of his free album “1977,” and while fans are waiting to hear more direct details on his forthcoming album Love IV: Diary Of A Mad Man, or a possible follow-up free release, he seems to have made a decision on what his next project will be.

Takin to Twitter to share his thoughts, the platinum hitmaker has announced he is pushing back “Love IV..” to work on an “international” album as he calls it. The 10 track project, titled “1984: Persona Of Love,” is set to be released sometime this Winter, but no info on how or where he plans to actually release it just yet.

NEW MUSIC: K. MICHELLE – HOW TO LOVE (REMIX)

K. Michelle is not one to bite her tongue, you should know that by now. The vocal powerhouse returns with a brand new remake, this time to Lil’ Wayne’s smash single “How To Love.” The great thing about this one, K is finally addressing, or should I say blatantly addressing her past relationship with Memphitz (label owner, A&R, TV personality). Quite interesting, check it out below, and stay tuned for the songstresses new EP “S.T.O.R.M.” coming soon.

BEYONCE SET TO PREMIERE “PARTY” VIDEO NEXT WEEK

Get ready to party with Queen B! Beyoncé is set to premiere the highly-anticipated video for “Party” on BET’s “106 & Park” next Tuesday, October 25. The vibrant visuals were shot at a New Jersey trailer park in early August with B’s fellow Destiny’s Child alum Kelly Rowland and sister Solange. It is unknown if featured rapper André 3000 will make an appearance.

“Party” is the sixth video to be released from the pop megastar’s platinum album 4. She previously debuted clips for “Run the World (Girls),” “1+1,” “Best Thing I Never Had,” “Countdown,” and most recently “Love on Top.”

NEW MUSIC: VERSE SIMMONDS FEAT. 2 CHAINZ, YO GOTTI & KELLY ROWLAND – BOO THING (REMIX)

Verse Simmonds gets a hand from 2 Chainz and Yo Gotti on the raunchy remix to his single “Boo Thang” featuring Kelly Rowland. 2 Chainz describes his freaky plans for the second date and Gotti gets down for the night (no strings attached). Verse kicks off his “Sex Chronicles” tour today in Charlotte, N.C.
