We showed you the pictures, and now we know the outcome of MC’s recent night in the studio with husband Nick Cannon and Uncle Murda. Mariah may be a new mom, but she can still keep it hood. The megastar helps out her friend Uncle Murda on the star-studded remix to his mixtape single “Warning,” also featuring 50 Cent and Young Jeezy.

NEW MUSIC: DONDRIA FEAT. JD – HEADLINES (REMIX)

Fresh off slaying Frank Ocean/Bridet Kelly’s “Thinking About Forever” and a duet style remix to Miguel’s “Quickie,” Dondria is back on her remake game. This time showing some cockiness over Drake’s “Headlines,” with background adlibs from Jermaine Dupri. Dondria just needs that record right now that fans can connect to, but these remixes are keeping her alive. They better know!

Trey is counting down the minutes to the release of his duo mixtapes “Anticipation II” and “#Lemmeholdatbeat 2,” dropping tomorrow. Both joints are good though, and produced by Carlos “Los” McKinney & Tony “Chef Tone” Scales.

SUNDAY SOUL: THE TEMPREES

This week on “Sunday Soul,” I bring to you a group that I’ve admired greatly since I was a young whipper snapper, per-say. They’ve delivered some of the smoothest melodies and deepest lyrics that even a kid could understand, and for you sample heads; thank me later.

Originally formed as The Lovemen, the trio – Jasper “Jabbo” Phillips, Harold “Scotty” Scott and Deljuan “Del” Calvin – met in the mid-1960s, when they were in junior high school,[1] along with Larry Dodson, future lead singer of The Bar-Kays. First signed to Stax Records in 1970, and later to Epic Records (a subsidiary of CBS), the band released four albums, Lovemen, 1974′s Love Maze, Because We Love You, and 1972′s Dedicated To The One I Love. Their catalog was later re-released on CD,[2][3][4] along with a greatest hits compilation entitled, The Best of the Temprees.[5] The trio’s last hit was 1976′s “I Found Love On A Disco Floor”.[6]
The band reunited in the 1990s. Lead singer Jasper “Jabbo” Phillips died on February 21, 2001.[1] The Temprees’ rendition of “Dedicated To The One I Love” was one of 50 songs featured in the double album box set, Stax 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2007.[7]

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE RE-TEAMS WITH JIMMY FALLON FOR ‘HISTORY OF RAP 3′

Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon are at it again. The dynamic duo returned for the third installment in their popular “History of Rap” series on Friday’s episode of “Late Night.” Backed by The Roots, J.T. and J.F. delivered another impressive old school hip-hop medley including classics like Young MC’s “Bust A Move,” House of Pain’s “Jump Around” and LL Cool J’s “Mama Said Knock You Out” to current hits like Kanye West’s “Stronger” and Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass.” They could do these once a week for 6 months and I’ll still enjoy them.
