NEW MUSIC: EMANNY FEAT. JOE BUDDEN – I MESSED UP

Up and coming singer/songwriter Emanny teams up with frequent collaborator Joe Budden for his brand new track, “I Messed Up,” which he let loose on Twitter. They definitely didn’t mess up this one. Check it out below.


UNCF ‘AN EVENING OF STARS’ PERFORMANCES

Miguel, Musiq Soulchild, Jill Scott, and Marsha Ambrosius were just a few of the R&B stars lending their talents to UNCF’s ‘An Evening With the Stars’. The event, also featuring, Patti LaBelle, Erykah Badu, Ledisi and more, taped live on August 14th from Pasadena, CA, but aired this past Sunday, September 25th on BET.

NEW MUSIC: FLORENCE + THE MACHINE – SHAKE IT OUT (THE WEEKND REMIX)

The Weeknd lends his production skills for the official remix to British group Florence + The Machine’s new single “Shake It Out.” The Canadian R&B prodigy chops up the original tune into a slow grooving beat. Unfortunately, no new vocals have been added, but it still has his style all over it.

RIHANNA PICKS UP THE ACTION IN DAY 2 OF “WE FOUND LOVE” VIDEO SHOOT

Rihanna turned up the action on the second day of her video shoot for “We Found Love” in Northern Ireland on Tuesday (Sept. 27). Wearing a denim bra, skirt, and torn stockings, the pop singer got on the megaphone and commanded the crowd. Fans lined the streets of Belfast to get a glimpse of the action, as RiRi ran on the pavement and performed scenes with a white vintage sports car. The shoot continued at night at a fish and chips shop.

JANET JACKSON JOINS FAMILY AT MICHAEL JACKSON MANSLAUGHTER TRIAL

Janet Jackson was by her family’s side for the opening statements of the Michael Jackson manslaughter case today in Los Angeles. The mood was somber as the youngest Jackson, dressed in black with sunglasses, walked hand in hand into the L.A. courtroom with her older brother Randy. Her parents, Katherine and Joe, and siblings were also in attendance for the start of the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, who is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the June 2009 death of the pop legend.

Up and coming star, singer/songwriter Luke James, gives you a behind-the-scenes look at his rise to stardom, in his new video series, ‘Driven.’ Luke co-wrote hits for Chris Brown “Crawl,” Justin Bieber “That Should Be Me” and Britney Spears “Kill The Lights”. You may also recognize him from Beyoncé’s “Run The World (Girls)” music video.
