You’d think that after a successful musical career, clothing line, fragrances, hubby and child on the way, Beyonce would be content with her current situation. But she doesn’t hesitate to share that she wants more. Speaking with the Associated Press during the NYC launch of her new PULSE fragrance, B discussed the upcoming changes in her life and future career goals.
She looks to start her own record label, featuring a boy band. B also expounds on how she’d like to actually produce music videos and documentaries. “I see so many male artists building these empires and passing their knowledge on to other artists and development. I see myself doing the same thing.”

Rihanna’s reign over the charts has not slowed down since the release of her latest album LOUD. However, the pop megastar isn’t taking any breaks, and has officially premiered the first taste off her Next album, which is currently untitled, but will be her sixth in six years. The new song, “We Found Love” is produced by DJ Calvin Harris, and is purely an uptempo, dance/club anthem. RiRi seems to be in a postive, party mood with her new material. Beyoncé was beaming in blue at the launch of her PULSE fragrance at PH-D at the Dream Downtown in New York City on Wednesday evening. The pop superstar hasn’t shied away from the spotlight since announcing her pregnancy earlier this month, popping up at New York Fashion Week and debuting her House of Deréon clothing line in London.
“Pulse is a fragrance you can wear all the time,” Beyoncé told PEOPLE. “I love the idea of a signature scent that lets a woman leave her mark wherever she goes, so I always try to make my scents appropriate for any occasion.”
B, who is nominated for two awards at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards, will greet 500 fans at Macy’s Herald Square today during the in-store launch.
