Wedding bells and a new baby are in the near future for Ne-Yo. The R&B gentleman has announced that he is engaged and about to become a father for the second time.
The 31-year-old singer, born Shaffer Smith, put a ring on his longtime girlfriend, Soul Men actress Monyetta Shaw. The happy couple is expecting their second child together, reports Us Weekly.
This is not the couple’s first child. Ne-Yo and Shaw welcomed a daughter named Madilyn Grace in November 2010. The second baby is reportedly due in October.
Ne-Yo also has two other deliveries on the way, his Kevin Hart-hosted mixtape “101″ and fifth studio album.
Musiq Soulchild finally releases the video for “YES,” the latest single off his sixth album MusiqInTheMagiq. A devoted Musiq provides emotional support and a shoulder to lean on for his leading lady, who is battling breast cancer, as they eventually tie the knot, as a group of real-life breast cancer survivors look on.
Fun Fact: Musiq is the ambassador for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Circle of Promise.
R&B heartthrob Trey Songz sat with Atlantic Records’ London HQ for a chat about his rap skills, the evolution of R&B-Rap and today’s genre-merging trends.
“I don’t think no singer can rap better than me,” he states, boldly adding, “I think I rap better than most rappers.”

Monica belted out her classics along with new fan-favorites this weekend at the 20th annual For Sisters Only Expo.
