Lloyd is back! The Young Goldie brings us on a trip to the timeless era of music in the brand new video for his latest single “Dedication To My Ex (Miss That).” The sharply dressed crooner mixes old with the new in the battle of the bands themed video, directed by Bryan Baker, which features Wayne Brady covering Lil’ Wayne’s narration, and an animated cat taking place of Andre 3000 (weird, but it works, ha).

Kiyana is a must-watch up-and-coming R&B talent from ATL, her latest effort “Take Me Away” samples one of my favorite 90′s hood hits, The Luniz “I Got 5 On It,” and features DJ Sense of the Aphilliates. So far this record is already receiving spins on 100.3 The Beat South Carolina, HOT 107.9 Atlanta, GA, and 97.9 Jamz just to name a few. After listening to this record on repeat for the past 20 minutes I can’t see why it won’t be every where else real soon.
I always wondered what happened to Actor/Singer Jason Weaver’s singing career, I for sure thought he was good after the Jackson 5 movie and that one episode on Thea (remember that show?). If you don’t remember Jason as an artist you should remember him from his roles in ATL, Smart Guy the TV series, Lottery Ticket, Thea, Voice of Simba in The Lion King, The Jacksons: An American Dream, Drum Line and for you old heads Brewster’s Place.
He has collaborated with Sky Keeton to form a group titled Son’s Of Bobby Brown…Said to pay homage to the once titled icon. I just hope he does not follow all of Brown’s footsteps, well, he could marry a rich actress to get that Whitney money…

The dapper crooner sings into a mic in the retro-themed visual. His lady can’t seem to keep her hands off him as they make out in the back of a car. The Bryan Barber-directed clip will premiere later today on 106 & Park.
