Ne-Yo may be a star in the music world, but he is just starting to spread his wings on the big screen. The multi-talented crooner was cast in the forthcoming Hollywood blockbuster “Red Tails,” as one of the Tuskegee Airmen, a group of African American combat pilots during World War II. The film, which is slated for release in early 2012, is directed by Anthony Hemingway, from a script by John Ridley and story by executive producer George Lucas. Ne-Yo will star alongside Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrance Howard, Bryan Cranston, Method Man, Jazmine Sullivan and more.

I’m not really a fan of black history when Hollywood decides to show it, But I want to see this one so bad.
