THE-DREAM TALKS ABOUT CHRISTINA MILIAN, CIARA, SUICIDAL THOUGHTS & WHY HE’S THE DOPEST ARTIST ALIVE

Self-proclaimed ‘the most hated artist alive,’ Terius Nash may be often surrounded by controversy, but The-Dream continues to solidify himself as one of music’s unstoppable hitmakers. Known to openly share his thoughts, the singer/songwriter spoke candidly with Vibe about his ex-wife Christina Milian, Ciara’s failed album, Beyonce’s 4, why he’s now the ‘dopest artist alive’ and more.

It’s 12:45 a.m. and The-Dream has just forked down his last bit of calamari at an Upper Eastside red-lit favorite. He’s fed and friendly. But even with a happy belly, R&B’s love-and-lust obsessed virtuoso is still a bit on edge. The midnight munchies arrive just after the Grammy-award-winning songwriter made the king decision to call off his video shoot after a 3-hour+ setup. But that dictation doesn’t make Dream a narcissistic asshole. Really, in-between the f-bombs and braggadocio, Terius Nash is an undeniable and frighteningly unstoppable talent. And get this—he’s also pretty damn nice.

RAY J – CIROCUMENTARY (VIDEO)

Ray J is the newest entertainer to join Diddy’s CIROC boy. Ciroc documented his day in NYC as he stopped by morning radio shows, Power 105.1′s The Breakfast Club and Hot 97, where he talked about his upcoming album, new reality TV projects, and an upcoming book.

Looks like someone kind of jacked our NYC visit visual style. Seems a little too similar to this. But, thats’s whats up. Ray is doin this thing. What do ya’ll think of his latest single “Bananaz?”


VIDEO: LANCE DRUMMONDS – LONG DRIVE

Up and coming crooner Lance Drummonds takes a drive to relax and reflect in the black and white visual for his cut “Long Drive.” Speaking on the video Lance stated, “Inspired by the freedom of the open road, I decided to film a music video for “Long Drive.” Directed by Time and Space’s own co-writer and producer Andre Oswald, I escape from the rigors of life by driving through my hometown of Elmont, Long Island and through the boroughs of New York City.”


KELLY ROWLAND ALREADY PLOTTING NEXT ALBUM WITH RICO LOVE

Kelly Rowland is already motivated to make another album. Following the release of this summer’s Here I Am, Rico Love exclusively tells Rap-Up.com that the R&B singer is plotting a return to the studio to prep her next project.

OUT THE BOX TV – ERYKAH BADU (VIDEO)

After a short hiatus, Out Da Box TV returns with an extra special new episode. This week, we feature the amazingly talented and accomplished Songstress “Erykah Badu”. Yes! we were fortunate to share the time in an intimate Question and Answer with the Queen of Neo Soul. Erykah spoke affectionately on everything from her love for music, balancing her career with life as a mother, embracing all that she is, despite previous stereotypes, and the depth and significance of the Window Seat Video.

Erykah also took the time to speak on the mind state of the people of the world, with regards to love and family in 2011. She stated “that people want to be seen as good in the eyes of whatever that made us. They want to be loved, they want to work with pride”. We were also fortunate enough to capture some amazing performance footage from her as well. I’m so proud and excited to share it with you. This is just a testament to the growth of Out Da Box TV and the wonderful things to come in the near future. We hope you are inspired!

Rihanna liberates the video for “Cheers (Drink to That),” the sixth single off her latest album LOUD. Packed with fun-filled clips which include footage from her “LOUD” tour and homecoming trip to Barbados. Cameos from Kanye West, Jay-Z, Cee Lo Green and Avril Lavigne, whose song “I’m With You” was sampled for the drinking anthem.
