The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul effortlessly glides over the soulful Eric Hudson-produced beat. “‘Cause I got days and days of love for you boy/ And I don’t wanna have to rush, but 24/7 ain’t enough/ ‘Cause I got so much love for you boy/ I need another hour and a day so I can love you 25/8,” she sings.
The R&B veteran has been in the studio with Pharrell, Rico Love, Swizz Beatz, and Jermaine Dupri working on the sequel to her 1994 landmark album My Life.

Another Aaliyah post; Yes, of course! We don’t celebrate her talent everyday so let’s get it in today. The homie DJ Manie sent us this mix he did to express his love of the late R&B star. He had this to say about the project, “What more can I say? I simply love Aaliyah and I still miss her. I remember that my buddy M.I.C. called me with the tragic news on the 25th of august in 2001. I just came home from a gig and dropped my stuff on the floor when I heard it. Had to do this dedication mixtape with my favorite Baby Girl jams.”
