Tank joined the lineup at the 2011 Essence Music Festival, held July 1-3 in New Orleans Louisiana. Tank performed to a packed out crowd in the New Orleans Ford Superlounge. Tank went through a slew of his hits, performing for the appeasement of the hundreds of fans in attendance, especially the ladies.
