REVIEW: BEYONCE – 4

Two years ago a girl was running the world of music, and fiercely tearing down stages across the globe. Aside from putting away her alter-ego, Sasha, not much has changed for the incomparable Beyonce Knowles. Other than a missing #1 single, which she is now expected to have prior to the release of a new album.

Today, Beyonce released her aptly titled album “4,” to a varied mix of reviews, and fan feedback. Claiming the #4 has multiple meanings for the pop queen. One thing is clear, this is her fourth best album — meaning her weakest. Many in music refer to the studio as the ‘lab,’ and B has delivered a science experiment.

NEW MUSIC: LLOYD FEAT. R. KELLY, KERI HILSON & K’NAAN – WORLD CRY (STREAM)

Lloyd will release his anticipated fourth album King of Hearts in one weeks time, July 5th. If you are follower of Lloyd on Twitter you would have seen his promotion of the term ‘world cry’. As one of the more anticipated tracks off the set, the album closer is a monster collaboration, and world anthem. The Young Goldie teams up with R. VIDEO: BEYONCE PERFORMS ON FRANCE’S ‘X FACTOR’ FINALE

Beyoncé served up a double dose of entertainment on France’s “X Factor” finale. The pop powerhouse tore the roof down with a red-hot version of “Run the World (Girls),” returning later in the show with her new single “Best Thing I Never Had.”

MTV and BET are set to air the television special “Beyoncé: Year of 4,” documenting her return to the spotlight. The half-hour show premieres Thursday, June 30, at 7 p.m. EST. Watch a sneak peek below.

Beyonce continued her European promo tour for new album 4. After her release party show in London the megastar hit the stage of France’s ‘Le Grand Journal’ for another energetic performance of “Run The World (Girls).” Hopefully B can sustain momentum for the album with these great performances. She will make her US return to the stage this coming Friday, July 1st for Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series.


ALICIA KEYS UNVEILS WAX FIGURE AT MADAME TUSSAUDS

To celebrate the release of the 10th anniversary edition of her debut album, songs in A minor, Alicia Keys performed in the middle of New York’s Times Square for “Good Morning America,” then headed over to Madame Tussauds to unveil her brand new wax figure. The 30-year-old singer posed alongside the spitting image of herself, which was dressed in a black leather outfit.
