After spending the last year working with various producers and perfecting her craft the rising talent has officially released her debut single. “Back Up” is an uptempo Pop/Dance anthem for the ladies who are tired of those guys that just won’t leave them alone. VIDEO: MAXWELL PERFORMS “FISTFUL OF TEARS” ON VH1 ‘STORYTELLERS’

In a preview of VH1′s “Storytellers” with Maxwell, the soulful crooner opens up to the audience about the feelings behind his fan favorite “Fistful of Tears,” before taking it to church as he said…

“‘Fistful of Tears’ was definitely inspired by the war,” Maxwell told the audience. “I hate the fact that we’re fighting. I can’t wait for the troops to come back. The fact that we’re fighting a religious war is crazy to me. I mean everyone should believe in whatever they want to believe in, just don’t mess with me.”

The full, intimate show will air on VH1 tomorrow (Friday) at 11 p.m. EST/PST.

Oh Shit! That was my exact response when I pressed play on K. Michelle’s brand new freestyle “We Mobbin”. The vocal powerhouse just released this aggressive, cocky freestyle, the second taste off her upcoming mixtape, “S.T.O.R.M.,” coming in July. This chick really just said “Bitch you got a Grammy, but I’ll come rob them!” Hahaha. She is goin in!!

This video couldn’t have come at a better time. Some songs just command your attention and that is what Frank Ocean’s fan picked single “Novacane” does. Directed by Nabil, the visual finds the singer/songwriter reflecting on the story in his mind, while basically he is high as a kite.
