THISISRNB RADIO (PODCAST) VOLUME 1

We are pleased to finally bring you our first ever ThisisRnB Radio Podcast. After about 3 full days of planning, mixing and recording we have our debut show for your listening pleasure. Today, will mark the beginning of our Bi-Weekly podcast show, where we will be showcasing a mix of the newest music, classics and whatever we are feeling at the moment. Along with phone interviews with artists, songwriters and producers, news and discussions on R&B related topics, world premieres of exclusive new music, and our Top 5 Countdown of the hottest R&B songs of the moment.

VIDEO: OLIVIA – DECEMBER (NEW SINGLE)

I’m not gonna lie, when I first saw this in my email, I gave it a twisted look based on the title. However, upon hearing the song, now I’m not mad at the connection of the release date and song. But! I am mad at the straight jacking of Ryan Leslie’s drums from “Addiction”. Olivia’s manager is Ryan’s head of promotion, so if that was going down, why can’t Ryan produce the track?

Anyways, Olivia releases her brand new, ballad single “December”. Which, is the follow-up to her attempt at a club hit with “Lick, Salt, Lime”. If you can get past the copy of drums, the song is decent, and Olivia still looks good, but do we really like this??

NEW MUSIC: SADE – LOVE IS FOUND

Sade is getting her leaking game on lately! And we don’t mind one bit! The beautiful legend releases another one of her new, unreleased records, titled “Love Is Found,” which will appear on her forthcoming greatest hits collection, Sade – The Ultimate Collection. Yikes! is all I say about this joint. While it may start very traditional with orchestra like strings and horns, but it gets dirty as hell with a Neptunes-ish mean guitar riff. Check it out below.

TONI BRAXTON DISCUSSES PLAYBOY OFFER, SAYS IT MADE HER FEEL SEXY

Toni Braxton visited Wendy Williams show this morning in promotion of her new reality show, Braxton Family Values. During their chat Wendy asked Toni about her alleged offer from Playboy Magazine. The R&B legend said, she is still considering it, and their offer really flattered her, and made her feel sexy again.

Well, damn Toni, you are! What do you think, should she do it??

MELANIE FIONA TALKS “THE MF LIFE” & PREVIEWS NEW SONG

Melanie Fiona is back and she offered Kempire Radio an EXCLUSIVE tease of a brand new song off her new album “The MF Life.” The R&B songstress gave her legion of Melan Heads a taste (via. a capella) of one of her never-heard-before song, “I Don’t Wanna Be.”

“It’s really personal to me because I felt like I needed to say and speak on how I felt about people trying to change me and telling me that I needed to be someone else when all I need to be is myself,” she told Kempire Radio backstage at her recent show at Irving Plaza in New York City. “I hope that people find inspiration in that.”

In addition to the tune, Fiona spoke about how her collaboration with Cee Lo Green came about and her new album “The MF Life.”
