Our favorite newcomer, Frank Ocean, has been having a good, last few weeks. The singer/songwriter and Odd Future affiliate, also known as Lonny Breaux, who recently dropped his first mixtape “nostalgia, Ultra” to critical acclaim, has officially hit the big time. Just posting this shot of a recent writing session with the Queen B, Beyonce Knowles! Speaking on the moment, “this is the room i’m working in this day. not to brag but man, this is surreal. like..she’s singing my songs. if time were to stop right now, the past couple weeks would be near the top of the highlight reel for my short time on earth”.

With 17 Number One singles to his name, Sean is a force to be reckoned with, combining real talent with serious swag. He has crafted and collaborated on powerhouse hits for the hottest artists in the game- ranging from Beyonce and Usher to Fergie and Chris Brown, and his solo career is proving to be equally successful: Sean’s single “Feel Love” (featuring J. Multi-talented rising star Bei Maejor is back with another new release for the fans. The man does it all, and he wanted to give us 1 more mixtape, before he puts full focus on his debut album. Taking a different approach than with his “Upside Down” projects, Bei reminisced on some of his favorite records, which have influenced his style, and made them his own. Speaking on the project, “I’m doing my take on songs that influence my music…they are songs that I grew up liking and have helped shape my musical experience”. Jennifer Hudson and Raphael Saadiq brought the soul to Nickelodeon’s Upfront presentation held yesterday at Jazz at Lincoln Center in NYC. Where Nickelodeon unveiled plans for brand-new content. The Grammy Award-winners closed the event with an exclusive duet of Motown classic “Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing,” as well as performances of Hudson’s latest single, “Where You At,” and Saadiq’s latest, “Radio.”
