Fantasia is gearing up to release her new return album Back To Me. The set is slated for release August 10th. An unofficial preview of the album has surfaced online. Every record that I write is an experience that I am currently going through or something that I have gone through in my past. I have a record called “40 Days and 40 Nights” which is a beautiful crossover record that is dedicated to a past relationship that didn’t end the way that I wanted it to. It’s about me trying to get over this person and the experience itself felt like it had been raining for 40 days and 40 nights the record speaks on how it has taken me forever to move on. And then I have a record called “Light The Candle” which is a sex record talking about heatin’ up the romance. I use light the candle as a metaphor. When I write I try to come up with concepts that are a little different and a little outside the box as well with my titles and my lyrical content with my music.

Over the weekend The-Dream’s latest opus Love King sprung a leak online. After listening to the album straight through I have to say he’s got another one. It is probably going to be my least favorite of his albums, but it is a solid LP. He continued to impress me with his song placement and transitions. Making the album have a great flow. For those of you that have not found your way to the leak. Billboard has featured Love King as their release of the week, and posted a full album stream. During a recent interview on Hot 102.7 Detroit Jeremih announced the title for his sophomore album will be All About You. The set is of course lead by first single “i Like,” featuring Ludacris, which will be hitting radio on the 28th. The sound is real low and messed up on this clip but stay tuned!
During Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz’ recent visit to South Africa, the couple partook in a traditional Zulu ceremony to bless their unborn child and upcoming marriage. Alicia is currently 5 months pregnant and they are expected to wed this summer.
