Here it is! The brand new single from Ne-Yo, “Beautiful Monster”. It is an uptempo Euro R&B track, which finds Ne-Yo crooning over Stargate produced dance synths. The story revolves around a dangerous love interest. This is the first official taste of Ne-Yo upcoming fourth LP titled, Libra Scale, which is slated to hit stores this September. Ne-Yo stated that the song “embodies a portion of a story that the music on the album is inspired by“. I think the record is decent. It is not something new though. Ne-Yo really changed the game when he put our “Closer,” and he seems to be continuing on the path of Euro Dance R&B. Check it out, what do you think??
