Usher went in front of the lens earlier this month to shoot a video for “OMG,” the first international single from his sixth studio album Raymond v. Raymond. Rap-Up.com spoke with the clip’s director, Anthony Mandler, who says Ursh’s new video will have you saying, well, “Oh my gosh!”

“I am right in the middle of finishing Usher,” shares Mandler, who’s directed videos for Rihanna (“Russian Roulette”), Jay-Z (“Run This Town”), and Eminem (“Beautiful”). The “OMG” clip, which was shot in Los Angeles, features will.i.am, who also produced the track. While he wanted to keep the concept a surprise, Mandler did say this: “Let’s just say that the video is a spectacle. It really emphasizes what we love about Usher and the character and the icon that he is, and most importantly, it’s really a video that showcases his superstardom.”
