Jennifer Hudson’s film career continues to blossom as the 28 year old (who recently became a mom) is set to play Winnie Mandela, former wife of South Africa’s first black president Nelson Mandela, in Winnie. The film will be based around Anne Marie du Preez Bezdrob’s biography Winnie Mandela: A Life. Production is set to begin May 30th in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Transkei and Robben Island.
